Business Central extension
Comostasis Reconciliation Readback
Business Central's standard API does not publish open receivables and payables per document, stock per location, or bank book and outstanding figures. A migration from Dynamics GP cannot be reconciled to the cent without them.
This extension publishes those reads as API pages in your own tenant. Every page is read-only: it cannot insert, modify or delete anything, and the extension sends no data anywhere on its own.
What it publishes
Served under /api/comostasis/recon/v1.0/companies({id})/.
- comostasisOpenCustomerLedgerEntries
- Open customer ledger entries, one row per document: customer, document number, posting and due dates, currency, remaining amount and remaining amount in local currency.
- comostasisOpenVendorLedgerEntries
- The same for vendors, so open payables can be compared document by document.
- comostasisItemStockByLocations
- Quantity on hand and inventory value per item and location, with a posting-date filter for an as-of figure.
- comostasisBankAccountBalances
- Book balance per bank account, with a date filter.
- comostasisOutstandingBankEntries
- Open bank-account ledger entries, so outstanding deposits and payments can be compared separately rather than netted.
Install, grant, remove
- Install
- Install Comostasis Reconciliation Readback from AppSource, or from Extension Management in Business Central. No setup page and no configuration.
- Grant access
- Assign the permission set COMOSTASIS RECON to the identity that will read the figures, usually the Microsoft Entra application registered for your migration. It grants read on the ledger tables behind the pages and nothing else.
- Remove
- Uninstall it from Extension Management whenever you like. It adds no tables and stores no data, so removing it leaves your data exactly as it was.
